Etna Travel Service was born from the determination of Pietro Malfitana, who has been dedicated to the tourist transportation industry since his youth. For almost 40 years, professionalism, passion and dedication to the customer are the hallmarks of a company that enjoys the utmost trust from buyers and esteem in the field in which it operates. Following these simple principles, and thanks to the entry into the company of sons Christian and Alessandro, who with their freshness and vitality have given the company a new impetus, Etna Travel Service continues from year to year to generate new projects and achieve increasingly important goals.
Our fleet
On-road and off-road services
We offer our clients a wide range of logistical services, transfers and day trips to the most important tourist destinations in Sicily, complete tours of the Island and Southern Italy, with rigorously selected and highly specialized drivers. Our many years of experience in the tourist transport sector also makes us the ideal partner for tour operators, incoming agencies and event organizers. The vehicles are equipped with every comfort, have a trunk commensurate with the number of seats and meet high standards of maintenance and cleanliness.
In addition, since 2021 we also carry out the service of transporting people with off-road vehicles on the summit areas of the Etna North slope, altitude 3,000 meters, and departing from Piano Provenzana, the company carries out the service with several special off-road 4×4 vehicles, and specifically, Mercedes Sprinter 20-seater and Torsus Praetorian 34-seater, we add that during the excursions on the summit areas, there is, the constant presence of Alpine or Volcanological Guides, great added value in terms of safety and professionalism.
Headquarters
Our office is located in Linguaglossa (CT), a town situated at the foot of Mount Etna and a strategic point for Sicilian tourism, since it is only 18 km from the tourist resort of Piano Provenzana, on the northern slope of Etna, 20 km from Taormina, 40 km from Catania airport and 65 km from the Port of Messina. Comiso and Palermo airports are 120 km and 250 km away, respectively.
